A minimum of two weeks advance booking along with the
following passport details is required: SURNAME / GIVE
NAME / NATIONALITY / SEX / OCCUPATION / DATE OF BIRTH
/ PASSPORT NUMBER / PASSPORT VALIDITY.
The normal Tibet visa fee depends upon the nationality
of the participants. The visa obtaining days at the
Chinese Embassy here in Kathmandu are every MONDAYS,
WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS. Participants travelling on
a Diplomatic or Official passport are refused entry
into Tibet. Thus kindly ensure you are travelling on
a Normal passport. To obtained the Tibet Travel Permit
easily kindly get the Chinese Visa from your own country
mentioning you are travelling to China.
Tour Operation:
Tours are operated on private tour basis. Each tour
requires a minimum of two participants. For group sizes
less than five persons, there will be some surcharge
(as mentioned in the rates sheet). Participants on a
private tour will not be combined with others.
Further as the quality of the food in Tibet during camping
portion is usually not to the stand Kathmandu and prepared
by our own trained and experienced Sherpa Staff. Thus
the group has an option of meals brought and cooked
from Nepal or from Tibet.
Unforeseen Expenses:
Our tour cost does not cover any extra expenses due
to road blockades, snow blockades, land -slides, political
disturbances, flight delays, flight cancellations, sickness
and any other reasons beyond the control of Lukla Travels
and its Tibetan counterpart. Any extra due to these
unforeseen reasons will have to be borne on the spot
by the clients themselves.
Flight Operation:
China Southwest Airlines (C.S.W.A.) presently operates
it 757 Boeing flights twice weekly for sector KTM /
LHASA / KTM on every Tuesdays and Saturdays
Tentative Departure from Ktm : 0950 hrs. Nepal Time.
Tentative Arrival In Ktm : 0845 hrs approax.
